Get S3 Object Metadata

Purpose

Retrieves an S3 object’s metadata and saves it against the essence file technical information.

Usage

Can be used to retrieve file information on S3 objects stored in GLACIER or DEEP_ARCHIVE without restoring the object. Returns basic information about file mime type and file size.

Skips files not located on S3 or where the response from S3 is Not Found or Access Denied.
